Norman Bargh, a founder Director of the Trailblazer Championships and fellow Director, Wilf Hobson confirmed last December that they were delighted to be passing the reins over for Trailblazers to Kelvin Bywater and the team from Show Direct. Norman has agreed to remain as an adviser for the Trailblazers Championships and Kelvin believes that “having known Norman for over 25 I am delighted to be working so closely with him on developing and strengthening the Trailblazers Championships for the future.”

“While I have thoroughly enjoyed being involved with Trailblazers” says Norman “it was time for new blood to help progress the series and I feel Kelvin has many of the same principles that have helped to develop the Trailblazers over the years. I am sure that the final will be a resounding success, Kelvin and his team at Show Direct are a very experienced team, the events they organise include the British Dressage Winter Championships and the Blue Chip Winter Show Jumping Championships at Hartpury, along with the British Dressage National Championships at Stoneleigh. I am looking forward to attending the Championship Finals and believe that Kelvin will take Trailblazers forward into an exciting and positive future.”
